BELLEFONTAINE

THEME | During the remodel of this 1920’s Spanish Mediterranean style home, Emily took the opportunity to emphasize the charm and craftsmanship of each room.

SCOPE | Kitchen and bathroom remodels, interior decoration of every room in the house as well as the pool house and guest house addition for repeat clients. Emily has worked on their home for nearly a decade.

FIXTURES | Much of the lighting in the home was original and in keeping with its Spanish Colonial style. Emily used some of the original fixtures where possible. She sourced antique Spanish Revival light fixtures from local antique dealers and incorporated them into the interiors, seamlessly melding the old with the new.

TILE | Emily was able to have fun with tile in this Spanish home, tiling the kitchen Groin vaulted ceiling, using Malibu tiles around the pool and hardscape and Saltillo tiles for the floor of both the indoors and the patio. In the pool house, Emily added new tiles to echo the tile work that was original to the main house.
